I really wanted to like Beanies Coffee Roaster because my first impression walking up was excellent. The shop is super cute, with a glass storefront and an adorable outdoor seating area with plenty of shade. Inside is equally cute and quaint, with plenty of comfortable seating. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the atmosphere. When I walked in, I was greeted by two employees who seemed very unenthusiastic. There was no smile, no "How are you?" or really any sense of welcoming hospitality. I originally wanted a pour-over but was told they couldn't make one because their pour-over "machine" was down. I ended up ordering an Americano and a banana loaf instead, specifically saying my order was for here. My Americano arrived in a to-go cup, although interestingly without a lid, so it seemed clear they knew I was staying. What made this more disappointing was seeing ceramic coffee mugs displayed inside the shop. In a cute sit-down coffee shop like this, part of the experience for me is actually being served coffee in a mug when I order it for here. I was asked if I wanted my banana loaf warmed, which I did. Today I went to this coffee shop for the first time after seeing a TikTok video about their fresh pastries. Honestly, the food was great and I really liked the coffee too. The place was busy, and I was excited to be there for my first time. Unfortunately, one employee who took my order, completely changed the my experience. While I was waiting in line, I noticed she was being very friendly and welcoming to every other customer. But when it became my turn, her attitude completely changed. Her facial expression, tone, and body language became cold and rude toward me immediately. She asked me in a very annoyed way if I already knew what I wanted, while she had been politely helping everyone else before me. I told her it was my first time there because I had seen them on TikTok, and instead of helping me since it was my first time at her coffee shop, she told me to step aside and let the people behind me order if I needed more time. At the moment I knew there was an issue. But instead I quickly ordered a latte and tried to stay polite, but every question I asked seemed to bother her. Local coffee roaster. Not much selection of beans. Enjoyed their Ethiopian beans. Nice place to get some work don. Quiet atmosphere. I would recommend calibrating every now and then. My cappuccino was on the bitter side.

Beanies Bad Roast So... let me start by saying I love to support local business in our community. With that said, I expect the same mentality from our local businesses and their employees. With today's highly inflated economy if you want my business and money, show some effort. I read some other reviews about Beanies that claim to have had a good experience so I came to see for myself. I was drawn to their claim of roasting coffee in-house. My wife and I were excited to try their coffee and possibly purchase a few pounds of fresh bean. When we walked in the store we were not greeted by staff. The employee said, "what can I get you." Ummm, "Hi, welcome in" would have been nice. But okay, I said this is our first time here, can you tell me about your coffee beans. She says, "look at the bags on the shelf. It explains what they are". I should have left right then but I really wanted to try their coffee beans. I said okay, when was the last time you roasted. She tells me "I don't know like maybe three weeks ago, um yea, I'm not sure". Me: how old are the pastries you have here? Her response, "yea I don't know". Okay so can you please make me a brow sugar curtado with oat milk and a fl
